Maa Durga Temple at COP
Within the precincts of the Resort at Kais there is a small temple.
Legend has it that Ma Durga arrived on an elephant as Ma was enchanted by
the greenery and the sheer beauty of the place. She set foot on a rock and
left an imprint. The skies change colour, winds change direction, weather
changes with the seasons, drums start rolling but above all Ma Durga brought
greenery and peace by blessing the place.
The Owners of the Resort built a temple over the rock which has a very
natural foot mark.
Do visit the temple during your stay, say a short prayer and seek blessings
of Ma Durga.
